What a fun day!! Danielle and I went paddleboarding on the ocean to start off the festivities. There was a whole crowd of San Diego locals hanging out on the docks of Marina Bay. We joined Mike Steele and crew on the boat to watch the downtown fireworks display. Talk about awesome seats!! The night resulted in some really great photos, so many that I created an album below if you want to see the rest.

How cute is my orange tabby boy?! I always adore the times he lays in my arms, especially when I’m able to capture the photo proof!!
This day was full of instagram posts, so the only photos were the ones above – and this is the night that Kym and I apparently booked flights this same night at 10PM… to Vegas for July 20-23.
So now, I was intrigued about what photos might exist from that trip?? I’m sure I’ve got something interesting with us two crazy girls taking over Vegas!!
I remember as we sat at breakfast, the day we were supposed to leave, just thinking about having to pack and go to the airport sounded like MISERY. After a while of silent phone surfing, Kym says, “hey sorry girl, I changed my flight, I’m staying another day!” I quickly booked a seat next to hers and called off work! Haha I needed a day of recovery

Only one picture from this day. My buddy Kent came to visit me at work!
There were also some videos of me in the bathroom at work, documenting my hair style/fit for the day.
I was working as a bartender inside the restaurant at a card room/casino. I would often get pretty dolled up for work, can’t hurt the tip jar!
There were a lot of interesting customers that came through my bar top, so it always helped my confidence to look fully professional so that you are ready for any “type” of guest encounter.
I was entertaining everyone from a family dinner, business meeting, company party, big ballers, truck drivers to some of the craziest gamblers that were up and down (broke or braggin). One day they are buying the whole bar a round of drinks – and the next day – they don’t have a place to live! Haha
So I wanted to stay looking fresh and bossy all the time!

NEW HOBBY: Adult Coloring Books and Acrylic Markers 😍

This was the one photo from that day in my Google photos, but as you can see dated on the coloring book page, I actually did this page in December, so I must’ve been sending the picture to someone to show off my work!
I had built quite the collection of adult coloring books, and many many sets of acrylic markers of all kinds! I even had metallic and glitter as seen on this particular page.
I don’t remember how I discovered this new love for spending my free-time or idle-time coloring – but I sure am glad that I found my outlet!!
